Chileatole
As one of the oldest drinks in Mexican culture, the chileatole existed before the Spanish conquest, which affected the original drink, since it was made with a paste of ground cocoa that was added to an atole that had green chile and vanilla, which turned out to be a very energetic drink, thanks to its slightly bitter and at the same time spicy flavor.
As Hernán Cortés himself describes in his "Cartas a la Natión", but unfortunately due to the Spaniards' lack of habit, they rejected the original chileatole, which caused the “Champurrado” and chilatole to be created some time later, as we know it today (without cocoa). This proyect combines the mexican gastronomy with aesthetics to achive a wonderful result as "Tostadas de Chiletole" does in a one bite snack.
